Head coach Brandon Schmidt will begin his 25th year as a Texas high school football coach and his second year at A&M Consolidated High School. Previously, he was at Prosper High School, where he served as the offensive coordinator in 2015 and as head coach from 2016 to 2022, leading the Eagles to the state semifinals in 2022.

Schmidt has also coached at Cedar Park High School (2006-2014), Round Rock Stony Point (2004-2005), and LaPorte High School (2001-2003). At Cedar Park, he was part of the 2012 state championship team and reached the state finals in 2014.

A graduate of LaMarque High School (1995), Schmidt was a student-athlete on two state finalist teams. He continued his education at Sam Houston State University, earning a degree in education and serving as a team captain in his senior year. Schmidt was also a three-year football letter winner at Sam Houston State.

He has been married to his wife, Katie, for 23 years. The couple has three children: Sophie, Sabrina, and Carter.
